Jennifer Burton is the founder of SWAY, a strategic communications and media production company that moves candidates and organizations to victory.   Jennifer brings over 24 years of distilling messages into creative advertising strategies to help companies, campaigns, organizations and non-profits achieve their communication goals.

Jennifer’s flair for producing creative, original ads has helped elect dozens of members of Congress and state-wide office holders, as well as pass many critical ballot measures and state-wide initiatives.  

Some of her past and current clients include Congresswoman Marie Newman, Congressman Peter DeFazio, Rhode Island Secretary of State Nellie Gorbea, Vermont Attorney General T.J. Donovan, New Mexico Auditor Brian Colón,   Senator Martin Heinrich and Wisconsin Supreme Court Justice Jill Karofsky.  

Prior to becoming a media consultant, Jennifer worked for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee and House Majority Leader Dick Gephardt.

In addition to her work on behalf of candidates, Jennifer has worked for many companies, like Marriott and organizations like Planned Parenthood, NARAL & VoteVets, assisting with image campaigns and producing successful ad campaigns.   

Jennifer is a past board member of the DC Campaign to Prevent Teen Pregnancy, the Mental Health Association of Montgomery County, DC Action for Kids and former board chair of Stone Soup Films.  

Jennifer lives in Chevy Chase, MD with her two daughters, Paloma and Lucia and their rambunctious Golden Retrievers, Cosmo & Huck.
