FAC Co-Chair

Impact100 DC is always looking for volunteers to serve as Focus Area Committee Co-Chairs during the grant review process. The FAC Co-Chairs lead the evaluation of grant applicants in each focus area, with Impact100 DC’s mission and vision front and center. Co-chairs are responsible for communicating with FAC members, assigning primary and secondary readers to each application, leading inclusive discussions, attending weekly Grants Committee meetings during the grant cycle, scheduling and attending site visits, and facilitating the choice of a finalist from each FAC.  This is a collaborative  and fun process and an opportunity to get to know and work with a group of wonderful women. The grant review process begins in January of each cycle and concludes in early May. The bulk of the work takes place from mid-January through mid-May, with a three-week hiatus for the Finance Committee work.
