I recently moved from Boston to the DC area after graduating from business school and currently work as a Strategy & Analytics Business Manager at Capital One. I’m thrilled to be part of Impact100’s inspiring community of women and to help support local nonprofits making a difference!

I have been a resident of DC for a little over four years. I work in the youth development and education space, and I’m excited to deepen my understanding of philanthropy through my fellowship with Impact!

I work at the U.S. Department of Energy and I’ve been living in DC for a little over a year now. I joined Impact as a way to give back to my DC community. I love reading, knitting, and hiking!

Ivette Morataya

I am a first-year fellow at Impact100 DC. Originally from Chicago and now residing in Washington, DC, I am joining Impact to learn more about philanthropic efforts and advocacy, as wella s to meet new people. I serve as the Outreach Director at Informed Immigrant, a nonprofit platform dedicated to informing and empowering undocumented immigrants. In my free time, I enjoy walking my dog and I am currently learning to sew!

Khalila Lomax

I am a first-year fellow at Impact100 DC, a native of Youngstown, Ohio, and have recently lived in Washington, DC, Illinois, and currently I live in Maryland with my family. I am pursuing my PhD in Curriculum and Instruction with a specialization in Language and Literacy at the University of Illinois. My deep-seated belief in the power of local community work and support is the driving force behind my attraction to Impact. I see this as the key to creating impactful change in our communities, a cause I am deeply committed to.

Shayna Levitan

I’m excited to be joining Impact100 DC as a first-year fellow! Through this fellowship, I am looking forward to learning about local philanthropy and the tremendous work of nonprofit organizations in the DMV. Originally from Massachusetts, I’ve been in D.C. for about a decade (!), where I currently work as a Policy Analyst at EdTrust, an education policy and advocacy organization, and enjoy reading and exploring the city with friends.

I’ve lived in DC for a little over 2 years now and work in consulting. As a second year fellow, I’ve enjoyed the opportunity to serve as a co-chair on the Health and Wellness committee.

Chanelle Washington

I am a lifetime learner and advocate for education equity. I’ve called “The District” home for over 6 years and am amazed by this city each and every day! I am always seeking opportunities to build and give with my community and was instantly drawn to the access that Impact100 DC is creating for our neighbors here in D.C.

I am a community activist and an advocate for Disability Rights, education and mental/behavioral health. I primarily work in spaces where Adolescence intersects with Public Health and I hope to bring a grassroots lens to Impact100 DC. This truly has been an opportunity to directly influence the trajectory of our communities by financially supporting organizations that practice transformative and restorative practices.
