Impact100 DC Announces $103,000 Grant

Impact100 DC announced yesterday that the amount of its 2021 grant to a local nonprofit will be $103,000.

“We are proud to be building an organization that reflects the diversity of the greater DC area and can help build bridges across the divides in our community,” said Impact100 DC President Ann Vaughn. “We look forward to making a grant to an organization working to address unmet needs in our community, particularly those arising from systemic racism and structural inequity.”

Impact100 DC will consider grant applications from nonprofits in the District of Columbia, Montgomery, Prince Georges, Fairfax, and Arlington Counties, and the cities of Alexandria, Fairfax, and Falls Church in five focus areas: (1) Arts & Culture; (2) Education; (3) Family; (4) Health & Wellness; and (5) Environment. It will award a single grant of $103,000 to the organization voted upon by its membership, with priority given to transformational projects that address disparate outcomes resulting from structural racism. The grant recipient will be announced in September 2021.
