Leadership Night: Meet the Women Who Run Top National Nonprofits

Leadership Night 2021

Monday, December 6, 2021
5:00-6:00pm
Zoom

DC is home to some of the nation’s and the world’s most impactful nonprofits, who are bringing about transformational change on the national and global stage every day. Many of these groups are led by inspirational women, who began their work on the state and local level and who have moved up to lead multi-million dollar organizations. We are also home to some of the most talented non-profit fundraisers in the country, women who have helped build monuments, launch campaigns for societal change and helped small groups get the capacity to grow and expand their services.

Karma Cottman, Executive Director of Ujima
Sally Greenberg, Executive Director of The National Consumers League
Carol Jenkins, President and CEO of World Learning Inc
Amy Kurtz, President of the 1630 Fund
Emily Schell Jones, Campaign Manager for Changing Our World
Deborah Vagins, President of the National Network to End Domestic Violence
Claudia Withers, COO of the Civil Rights Corps

All members and prospective members are invited to join us for a panel discussion featuring seven women who lead top national nonprofit organizations, moderated by Impact100 DC Board member, Jenny Backus. You will get the chance to meet these incredible women on Zoom, hear their stories, and learn from their experiences as we prepare for our second Impact100 DC grant cycle.
