Funke AderonmuI am a social impact professional and have lived in the Washington, DC area for close to six years. Currently, I work for a strategy consulting firm that partners with nonprofit, philanthropic, governmental, and private-sector organizations to address pressing challenges. As a fellow, I’m excited to support local nonprofits in the DMV to serve their communities and promote a more equitable region. In my free time, I enjoy reading, podcasts, dance fitness, and trying new restaurants. |

Khalila LomaxI am a native of Youngstown, Ohio, and have recently lived in Washington, DC; Illinois; and currently I live in Maryland with my family. I am pursuing my Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction with a specialization in Language and Literacy at the University of Illinois. My deep-seated belief in the power of local community work and support is the driving force behind my attraction to Impact. Lauryn RenfordI am a Washington, DC–based public service professional focused on youth engagement, community partnership, and public safety. I currently serve as a community outreach specialist in the Office of the Attorney General for the District of Columbia. My past experience includes philanthropic grant research and vetting as a summer fellow with the Aviv Foundation. I also serve as an alumni advisor to Pathways 2 Power, a student-led advocacy group formed in response to the loss of two classmates to gun violence. I bring a trauma-informed, community-rooted approach to leadership and impact. |

Lakeisha SkinnerI am a public policy and political affairs professional with over 10 years of experience across various sectors, including transportation, aerospace, veterans’ health, and the environment. I pride myself on advocating for critical issues affecting my community while remaining grounded and true to my roots. Originally from the great state of Mississippi, my upbringing in rural poverty gave me a unique perspective on life. I welcome the opportunity to learn more about the Impact100 DC grant review process and how to become an impactful philanthropic leader.
